Honeywell SmartLine Wireless Gauge Pressure - Series 800 & Series 700

SKU: STGW

Configuration Required -Contact ISS

SmartLine® Wireless Gauge Pressure Transmitters are available in two variants: the high-performance Series 800 and the high-value Series 700.

Gauge pressure transmitters measure the pressure relative to atmospheric pressure.  Typical applications include high-pressure measurement in boilers, fuel feeds, and high-pressure reaction vessels in the petrochemical and hydrocarbon recovery industries.

The SmartLine Wireless Gauge Pressure Transmitters include the following types and operating ranges:

Series Models Type Operating Range
 700 STGW740 Dual Head 0-500 psi (0-35 bar)
STGW770 Dual Head 0-3000 psi (0-210 bar)
STGW73L In-Line 0-50 psi (0-3.5 bar)
STGW74L In-Line 0-500 psi (0-35 bar)
STGW77L In-Line 0-3000 psi (0-210 bar)
STGW78L In-Line 0-6000 psi (0-420 bar)
STGW79L In-Line 0-10000 psi (0-690 bar)
 800 STGW840 Dual Head 0-500 psi (0-35 bar)
STGW870 Dual Head 0-3000 psi (0-210 bar)
STGW84L In-Line 0-500 psi (0-35 bar)
STGW87L In-Line 0-3000 psi (0-210 bar)

How does it work?

Honeywell’s approach begins with the very capable and versatile OneWireless Network. Honeywell's network is the industry’s first multiprotocol network that supports both ISA100 Wireless and WirelessHART protocols.

Devices using either protocol operate together and in real time. Furthermore, the OneWireless Network can connect Wi-Fi devices and wired MODBUS devices, bridging legacy systems with modern technology.

Honeywell developed the OneWireless Network to enable customers to deploy a single, high-performance network for process monitoring, with the flexibility to expand and incorporate more critical applications, such as control when needed. OneWireless Network's built-in capabilities allow for control applications, for example providing a scalable wireless infrastructure while ensuring deterministic communication.

Honeywell’s SmartLine Wireless Pressure builds upon the previous generation transmitter offering by offering a 0.5-second publication rate option and a new anti-aliasing filter option.  These transmitters are ready for control. Honeywell customers currently utilising XYR™ 6000 wireless transmitters can also painlessly add SmartLine Wireless Pressure to their networks.

What Problems Does It Solve?
Wireless field devices reduce the obstacles to project ROI justification and accelerate the installation timeline, enabling faster operational readiness.

Industrial organizations seeking operational improvements are re-evaluating previously hard-to-justify or difficult-to-access areas. Wireless field devices address these challenges by lowering costs and offering an alternative solution for instrumentation deployment.

When evaluating industrial wireless offerings, SmartLine Wireless Pressure product offers significant performance and cost advantages for both current and new users of industrial wireless technology by:

  • Providing a robust wireless network with increased power, faster update rates, reduced infrastructure requirements and wider deployment options
  • Incorporating additional noise reduction to improve performance in control applications
  • Simplifying installation and commissioning
  • Utilising long-life commodity batteries
  • Offering the ability to use 24-volt DC power, optionally, in the field
  • Implementing proven, industry-best cybersecurity
