Honeywell Flex 5 Series Configurable Option

The Honeywell Flex 5 Series is a modular, serviceable 4, 5 or 6 gas detector with a choice of 23 sensor options. One base unit can be set up as a diffusion wearable for personal protection or as a pumped sampler for confined space entry.

Configurable options include:

• Choose a 4-way diffusion (up to 5 gases), 6-way diffusion (up to 6 gases) or 6-way pumped (up to 6 gases) cartridge
• Select up to 6 gases from 23 sensors (not all combinations are allowed – check cross-sensitivities)
• Swappable sensor cartridges let you change configuration with minimal effort, without needing a separate device
• Standard or extended battery: up to 25 days continuous on diffusion models, with a minimum of 12 hours in any configuration
• 3 instantaneous alarm set points, STEL/TWA, negative drift, over-limit, battery and system integrity alarms – visual, vibrating and 95 dB audible
• Configure how you want to work using PC Lite (Windows 11, included), the Device Configurator app (iOS/Android) or Safety Suite 2.0 for centralised fleet management
• Connect and configure by USB-C, Bluetooth® or NFC, with Data Later, Data On Demand or Data Now options, so you get visibility without paying for constant connectivity
• NFC actionTAGs for user assignment, accessory verification, bump tests, guided calibration and location/confined space entry checks – all AES-128 encrypted or higher
• Configuration cloning across devices and guided workflows that support permit-to-work processes
• Full logging: event log, data log (15–120 s interval), configuration change history, last 10 calibrations and advanced diagnostics
• Sensors can be configured at order or later by users with appropriate training
• IP66 & IP68 (diffusion) / IP65 (pumped), certified −20 °C to 60 °C
