The Drager X am Pump is an external pump made specifically for the Drager X am portable gas detectors X am 2500, 2800 and X am 5000, 5600, 5800 - designed for clearance measurement, for example in tanks and shafts. When connected to an X am device, the pump turns on automatically. It can also quickly and easily switch from pump mode to diffusion mode.
Easy to use
The pump can be attached to the X am 2500/2800 and X am 5000/5600/5800 and then fastened with a clip. Pumping will start automatically once the gas detection devices and the pump are connected. There is no effect on the measuring performance for standard gases when using the X am with the pump.
Charging via USB
The pump battery can be recharged using the micro-USB port. The pump contains an LED indicator to show the charge status. A full charge requires approximately six hours, and a standard cell phone charger may also be used for connecting.
Handy and robust
The Pump allows for easy carrying and storage due to its small height (17.5 cm) and light weight (200g), making it’s use convenient. The Drager X am Pump is waster and dust resistant according to the IP67 protection classification. It has a reliable performance even at temperatures down to -40°C. The battery is solid cast to protect against damage due to dropping or impact.
Data logger
The Pump operating time, charge status, battery warnings, and flow alarm are displayed on the Drager X am and stored in the data logger. This makes it possible to display the results of the clearance measurements separate from the evaluations of personal monitoring.
Long operating time for long deployments
The battery capacity lasts for three workweeks at 8 measurements per day (i.e. up to 20 hours of continuous operation). The operating time of the X-am is not decreased when the pump is in operation. The entire pump operating time can be evaluated using CC-vision software.
