The Drager X am 5800 is multi-gas detector that can measure up to 6 gases. It has been specially developed for personal protection and can reliably measure toxic gases, oxygen and combustible gases and vapours. The X am 5800 provides a high level of safety with low operating costs. The detector includes powerful sensors. The new CatEx sensor provides many advantages, including resistance against shocks and the measurement of flammable vapours.
Comfortable asset management
The Drager X am 5800 enables you to efficiently manage your fleet of equipment in daily use. Perform fast tests by using the automatic test station X-dock with low gas consumption to save operating costs and time. A pure mechanical bump test station can also be used.
Tailor-made gas monitoring
The Drager X am 5800 is small and lightweight, making it comfortable to wear and easy to use. It also includes large buttons for easy use when wearing gloves. Important information, such as gas readings, alarms and time, are clearly shown on the display screen. The detector also features a green D-light which indicates that the device is ready for use. Additionally, the language-free icon based user interface of the X am 5800 is simple to use and learn. The detector’s oxygen channel includes four alarm thresholds – real pre-alarms and main alarms for falling and rising concentrations. The Drager X am 5800 has been tested according to protection class IP 68 and has been approved for use in Ex zone 0. The detector also features a manually triggered panic alarm and an optional motionless alarm.
