Dräger Tubes For Short Term Measurements: Sulfur Dioxide 0.5/a
Dräger Safety offer a massive range of short-term gas detection tubes for the measurement of various gases. This particular set of tubes is for (Sulfur Dioxide 0.5/a).
The tubes come in a pack of 10 tubes and have a shelf life of 2 years.

Reaction Principle:
SO2 + I2 + 2 H2O ~ Starch ~> H2SO4 + 2 HI
Cross Sensitivity:
Hydrogen sulfide is indicated as well but with different sensitivity. Nitrogen dioxide will shorten the reading.
Evaluation:
Measuring range 1 to 25 ppm: Reading on the (n=10) scale = ppm Measuring range 0.25 to 1 ppm: Reading on the (n= 20) scale x 0.5 = ppm SO2 (applies only for scale range 0.5 to 2 ppm).
