The Drager PARAT® 1200 Training Unit is a purpose-built educational tool designed to familiarise users with the operational procedures of the PARAT 12x0 Series filtering escape devices. 

This training mouthpiece and nose clip respirator enables comprehensive instruction on correct donning, positioning, and usage techniques without consuming actual filter cartridges. The unit features an empty filter dummy that allows trainees to practise the complete escape sequence in a controlled environment. The dummy filter is easily removable and can be thoroughly cleaned between training sessions, ensuring optimal hygiene standards across multiple users and repeated training cycles. This design makes it an economical choice for organisations conducting regular respiratory protection training programmes.
