The A2B2E2K1P2 R D filter is suitable for use with Dräger's range of half and full face masks with Rd40 thread connections. It covers a range of gases including organic compounds, inorganic compounds (e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, and hydrogen cyanide), sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride and ammonia.
It also protects users from dust particulates and is 94% efficient in doing so.
Dräger class this filter as being reusable, however there are a number of factors to consider as the service life depends on the size and the conditions of use. Factors include the humidity of the air, temperature, the duration of use and also the breathing rate of the user.
