R59550 Dräger X-plore® 8700 (EX) Blower Unit

Blower unit with electronic monitoring of the device functions. The apparatus recognises the kind of breathing connection (full or half face mask, hood, helmet, or protective visor) automatically and modifies the volume flow range appropriately. Furthermore, it is feasible to manually control the volume flow in three phases. Automatic filter identification detects the filter being used and shows the particle filter's saturation level.

System approved according to DIN EN 12941:2009 (in conjunction with Dräger X-plore 8000 hoods, helmets and visors) and DIN EN 12942:2009 (in conjunction with Dräger X-plore half and full face masks and Dräger FPS full face masks). The device has the protection class IP65 (6 dust proof, 5 jet water from all directions). Further approved according to ATEX: II 2G Ex ib IIB T4 Gb, II 2D Ex ib IIIB T135°C Db and IECEx: Ex ib IIB T4 Gb, Ex ib IIIB T135°C Db.
