DR4500 Circular Chart Recorder
Configuration Required -Contact ISS
The DR4500 is a 12-inch circular chart recorder designed for use in food processing, pharmaceuticals, heat treatment, environmental testing, manufactured goods, and water/wastewater treatment.
The DR4500 generates its own charts, removing the need to stock preprinted ones and offering greater user flexibility.
Equipped with RS-485 Modbus communication and an integrated PID controller, it supports precise process monitoring and control.
What Is It?
The DR4500 circular chart recorder is a microprocessor-driven device engineered to address diverse industrial demands. Featuring a digital display and intuitive operator interface, it is offered in multiple models tailored to specific applications, including flow measurement and HTST dairy processes.
The Truline pen ensures reliable process documentation with reduced maintenance requirements. Integrated with a PID controller and RS-485 Modbus communications, it delivers precise control and enhanced connectivity. This highly accurate and configurable recorder is built to perform reliably in challenging industrial environments.
How Does It Work?
Honeywell Truline circular chart recorders receive process signals directly, enabling them to generate charts based on actual environmental conditions. This approach eliminates errors caused by temperature and humidity-induced paper expansion, improving accuracy. The recorders employ single or dual pens, including a “hot-stylus” option, to create chart images.
Their straightforward design ensures ease of use, even for less experienced operators, while modular construction simplifies maintenance, upgrades, and servicing. Equipped with a bright digital display and a dedicated configuration keypad, these recorders offer enhanced user convenience. Available with NEMA 3 or NEMA 4 front face protection, they are well-suited for demanding industrial settings.
What Problems Does It Solve?
The DR4500 circular chart recorder eliminates the need to purchase individual circular charts for each application with its single circular chart requirement, thereby enabling cost savings to the user through reduced stocking of multiple circular charts.
