Drager X am 5100 Single Gas Detector

The Dräger X-am 5100 is a small lightweight 1 gas detection instrument for extremely reactive gases, which is specially designed for the requirements for personal monitoring. The gas detection device is equipped with an event and data logger for up to 1,000 h.
The Drager X am 5100 portable single-gas detector allows for safe handling of HF, HCL, H2O2 or hydrazine when manufacturing petrochemical products, aseptic packing, or handling of rocket fuel.
Ergonomic Shape
The X am 5100 is designed to have the highest level of comfort. The detector features a very intuitive design with its two-button control panel and simple menu navigation.
Reliable handling of reactive gases
The Drager X am 5100 continuously and reliably measures HF, HCL, H2O2 or hydrazine. It gives three warnings:
- Visual (360°)
- Acoustic (multi-tone alarm)
- Vibration
Special Device Design
The sensors react quickly due to the special device design and direct gas entry. Additionally, the detector avoids gas adsorption in the device housing, providing precise measurement data.
Robust Design
The X am 5100 features and integrated rubber boot, and shock-resistant sensors provide protection against impact or vibrations. The gas detection device is also resistant to electromagnetic irradiation.
Area Monitoring
In combination with the Drager X-zone 5500, the X am 5100 can be used for flexible area monitoring. For example, up to 25 X-zone 5500 units can be automatically connected to form a wireless alarm chain. This connection of the transportable ‘measuring heads’ allows for the monitoring of large areas such as pipelines or tanks during an industrial shutdown.
Various calibrations, regulators and software are also available.
