The detector is configured and controlled using a magnet, avoiding the need to open the device. Infrared (IR) sensor options are available for methane detection within the same range, as well as for propane, with noted cross-sensitivities to ethylene and butane, and for Carbon Dioxide (CO2). These sensors complement the flammable gas transmitter version.
