The detector is configured and controlled using a magnet, avoiding the need to open the device. Its tri-colour backlit display offers an immediate visual indication of the detector’s status for easy monitoring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe XCD offers a catalytic sensor for detecting flammable gases between 0 and 100% LEL. Infrared (IR) sensor options are available for methane detection within the same range, as well as for propane, with noted cross-sensitivities to ethylene and butane, and for Carbon Dioxide (CO2). These sensors complement the flammable gas transmitter version.
